I’m not sure when I started photographing the food I was about to eat or in the process of eating, but it was sometime back in January of this year when I started photographing food AFTER I ate it.
It was a little hard to do because I usually end up eating everything on my plate, but I have been able to capture a few after meals. There are plenty of food photographers (foodographers) out there but I have yet to find someone who has tried to take already eaten meals and show how beautiful they can be.This is the reason behind “Would you eat this?”.I wanted to see if people could tell where or what I just ate, so I posted a few of these on facebook and a couple people said they would eat my left overs. I keep these people in my mind whenever I eat because to me, one way to show how comfortable you are with a person is a willingness to share food, even food they have already picked at. Someone even ate the fat I picked off my bacon once. These are my true friends.
That being said…Would you eat this?
